Glazed Fruit Bars |

1 c. sugar |
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix sugar, shortening, margarine, egg, orange peel and orange juice. Stir in remaining ingredients except powdered sugar glaze. Spread in greased jelly roll pan, 15 ½” x 10 ½” x 1”. Bake until top springs back when touched, about 15 mins. Cool slightly, spread with Powdered Sugar Glaze. Cut into bars. |
Powdered Sugar Glaze: |
Beat powdered sugar, vanilla and milk until smooth and of desired consistency. |
